What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Financial Manager to join and lead our small Finance team. Reporting directly to the CEO, your responsibilities will include: a) financial planning, b) treasury and cash flow management, c) financial reporting and compliance, d) cost control, e) risk management by structuring, monitoring, and analysing business KPIs to ensure robust financial planning and reporting while supporting the company’s long-term growth objectives. Your insights and expertise will be instrumental in driving strategic decision-making and enhancing financial processes for efficiency and scalability.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Overseeing and analysing business KPIs, ensuring they align with company objectives and long-term financial sustainability.
• Managing and analysing the company’s financial performance, producing and reviewing monthly management reports.
• Developing and maintaining financial reporting frameworks to support strategic business functions.
• Leading the budgeting process and ensuring effective financial forecasting throughout the year.
• Managing treasury and cash flow, analysis and implementing effective treasury strategies to optimise short-, medium-, and long-term liquidity.
• Preparing financial presentations and Board Packs to support executive decision-making.

What You Need

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or controlling, preferably in a digital technology-driven, fast-growing and high-performing environment.
• Strong expertise in Italian GAAP (OIC), IFRS, and IAS accounting principles, financial planning, and reporting, with hands-on experience in managing financial operations and regulatory compliance, preferably gained in a Big 4 auditing firm or a finance leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage cash flow, treasury, and cost control processes, ensuring financial stability and operational efficiency.
• Experience in ERP systems, financial automation, and process optimisation to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Ability to analyse financial data, generate reports, and support decision-making with actionable strategies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, supporting different departments in financial planning and budget management.
• Excellent communication to liaise with external auditors, accountants, tax authorities, banks and internal stakeholders.
• Previous experience in a Tech Scaleup is highly valued.
• Experience in financial reporting under IFRS/IAS, particularly in the context of scale-up M&A, is highly valued.
• Experience in Investor Relation e Management is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English (C2, both written and spoken).
