We are hiring an Account Executive to drive revenue growth across European institutional clients. This role is suited to an investment professional with experience as a product strategist at a quantitative investment firm, or a sales professional with experience selling signals, data, and AI/fintech solutions to institutional investors and related firms.
You will own the full sales cycle, from early-stage client validation and prospecting through to closing, whilst working directly with senior leadership on strategic accounts.
London, UK / Northern Italy (Milan or Modena) - Hybrid
Manage the full sales cycle for institutional clients
Develop and close new business opportunities with asset managers, wealth managers/private banks, hedge funds, and related firms
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Conduct product demos and commercial negotiations
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM (HubSpot)
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Research teams to refine the go-to-market strategy
Contribute to pricing strategy, deal structuring, and market positioning
5-10 years of experience in Institutional B2B sales, preferably in:
Quantitative investing
Fintech
Signals/data / Alternative Data used by investors
Or:
5-10 years of experience in a product strategy role within a quantitative investment management team/firm
Hands-on experience in explaining the investment approach to both technical and non-technical audiences
Common requirements:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong understanding of institutional investors and financial markets
Excellent communication skills in English (C1–C2)
Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-growing environment
Background at firms operating in quantitative signals, alternative data, or AI-driven investment strategies.
Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders (PMs, quants, CIOs)
A well-established client network and demonstrated ability to originate deals from existing relationships.
